What happens to your Tracker when you sell your car?

Selling your car and upgrading to a new ride? It's an exciting step. But it also means you’ll need to make a decision about your current Tracker service. The good news is, there are several options available to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Start fresh with a new contract
You can cancel your current contract and sign up for a new 36-month Tracker service. In many cases, this comes with a reduced settlement fee, depending on how far along you are in your existing contract. With a wide range of services to choose from, you can find one that best suits your needs. Explore your options.

Transfer your tracking service to your new car
Prefer to keep your current contract? No problem. You can move your Tracker contract over to your new car by arranging a unit transfer. You’ll need to book an appointment for the installation of a new unit in your new car. A service fee will apply.

Transfer ownership to the person who buys your old car
If the person buying your old car is happy to continue with the tracking contract, you can opt for a change of ownership. This lets the new owner take over the remaining term of your Tracker contract.

Say goodbye
While we’ll be sad to see you go, you’re free to end your contract altogether. If you choose this route, we’ll calculate a settlement amount based on how much time is left in your agreement.
