SkyTrax Additional Services Tracker SkyTrax offers a number of value-added services designed specifically to give you peace of mind:

Emergency Medical Services

• 24/7 emergency medical response with road and air services.
• An emergency medical hotline provides 24/7 counselling for family and domestic abuse, trauma, child abuse, bereavement and HIV counselling. There is also a suicide and poison hotline, and a medical doctor on call.
• Hospital transfers.
• An economy class air travel ticket for a person of your choice to join you should you be hospitalised in an area far away from home, as well as the free escorted return of minors in the event of a customer’s hospitalisation.

Hospital admission

Free medical repatriation. If an accident occurs outside your town of residence, you will be moved to the facility closest to your hometown.

Free escorted return of minors. In the event of minors being stranded as a result of a customer’s hospitalisation, the minors will be transported under supervision of a nominated person. (Subject to terms & conditions).

Compassionate visits. If hospitalisation exceeds a period of five days, and you are outside the area of residency, Tracker SkyTrax will cover the costs of economy class travel for a close relative to visit you.

Roadside Services Roadside services will be dispatched for flat tyres and batteries, keys locked in the vehicle, a vehicle that has run out of fuel, etc., with Tracker covering the call-out fee and one hour labour, fuel cost is for customer’s account. If a vehicle needs to be towed, Tracker SkyTrax will cover the cost up to R500. If a breakdown occurs closer than 100km from the client’s residence, Tracker SkyTrax will cover the cost of transporting a maximum of six passengers to one nominated address. If the breakdown is more than 100km away, Tracker SkyTrax will cover hotel accommodation up to an amount of R500. Alternatively, we will cover the cost of car rental to the value of R500. If the broken-down vehicle is to be stored at a place of safety, Tracker SkyTrax will cover the storage costs up to R500.

SMS Position Request (SPR)

SMS Position Request (SPR) allows you to request and receive the latest position and status of your vehicles through your cellular phone at any time of the day. The request is sent and received via SMS and is billed directly through your GSM service provider at a cost of R1.00 per message. The SMS must consist only of the vehicle registration that a position is being requested for. From a security perspective, you can only request positions for vehicles registered on your web login.

How is the service activated?

You need to accept the disclaimer on your web login and register the cellular phone number in order to enable this function. You then SMS the vehicle registration in question (as it appears on their web login) to 32675.

An SMS detailing that vehicle's latest location and status will then be sent to your phone.

Special note:

SPR is currently only available to South African subscribers via cellular service providers Vodacom and MTN. It is not yet available through Cell C.

Tracker Track & Tow Tracker Track & Tow offers a reliable towing service, available at a nominal monthly cost. If your vehicle is recovered in another province, following a theft or hijacking, Track & Tow will ensure that your vehicle is towed back to a location of your choice provided it is within South Africa. If the vehicle is not roadworthy, Track & Tow will take care of any documentation at the police station, put your vehicle on a flatbed truck and deliver to your chosen location.

miTRAFFIC

With Cellfind's new miTRAFFIC (powered by Tracker) service we will alert you to all that is happening in the traffic in your area.

How? Simply by registering for the subscription service and setting up your two locations - we suggest work and home - but it is just a suggestion, you will receive a notification every morning and evening with all the incidents in your area.

But what if I don't want traffic alert for my home? Well you simply sms the word "traffic" and the city name to 31887 and we'll send you a traffic report for the city.
EG. sms "traffic sandton" to 31887

I'm stuck in traffic, and I can't send an sms that long! Well simply sms the word "traffic" to 31887 and we will use our technology to track you and send you a MMS report within a 50km radius of where you are!
