We respect your privacy and your personal information and for this reason, we take all reasonable measures, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, to protect your personal information and to keep it confidential, even when you are no longer our customer. Unless defined elsewhere, terms in this Privacy Policy shall bear the meaning ascribed to them in our website terms and conditions of use.

By continuing to use our website and/or services and/or apply for services you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the provisions of this Privacy Policy, or are concerned about any aspect as it relates to the protection of your personal information, please do not continue to use the website and/or apply for services.

Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 ("ECT Act")

We voluntarily subscribe to the principles, outlined in Section 51 of the ECT Act, which govern your right to have your personal information kept private. We briefly outline these principles below: We will only collect, disclose, collate, process and store ("use") your personal information with your express permission unless legally required to do so, and will only use such information for the lawful purpose for which it is required. How is your personal information used and disclosed?

  • in order for us to process your instructions or requests;
  • in order for us to ensure that we provide you with the best possible service at all times;
  • in order to ensure that we are in a position to live up to our vision of “taking back tomorrow”;

What is personal information?

Personal information refers to information that identifies or relates specifically to you, for example, your name, email and payment records, and will include information that is not personal of nature, but is information collected, intercepted, collated, viewed, processed, stored and/or maintained through the telematics device in your vehicle, if applicable. In short, any information that we know about you will be regarded as your personal information.

How we collect your Personal Information?
Whenever you complete an application form, contact us electronically or telephonically or use the services offered by us, we collect your personal information.

In addition, our website uses "cookie" and "web beacon" technology. We use such technology to gather information about your use of the website including details of your operating system, browser version, domain name, and IP address (the IP address is a string of numbers that tells us which server you are using but does not identify you). The process of gathering information described above uses a technology known as "cookies". Cookies are pieces of information a website transfers to a user’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. We cannot control or access cookies used by third party service providers. This Privacy Policy covers only cookies used by us, and not any cookies used by third parties. We may use third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements when you visit the Website. Disclosures of your personal information​

Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be drawn to your attention on our website. You agree to review the Privacy Policy whenever you visit the Tracker website for any such amendments. Save as expressly provided to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, the amended version of the Privacy Policy shall supersede and replace all previous versions thereof.

​This Privacy Policy will be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa. To the extent that a court has jurisdiction over any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, we both submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
