Investing in Knowledge and Education

The goal of our educational CSI programmes is to give future generations a foundation which will empower them to take the future into their own hands, so they too can “take back tomorrow”. Some of these projects include:

Artist

The Artist Proof Studio Learner Programme

Tracker currently supports 12 promising young art students in downtown Johannesburg at the Artist Proof Studio (APS) who are learning how to turn their talent into a sustainable existence. APS is a non-profit organisation aimed at developing today’s young artists into tomorrow’s success stories.

Tracker has provided the funding for each student to participate in a three-year programme, as well as a monthly stipend that is used towards transport and art supplies. Additionally, our artists’ creations are often displayed at our corporate functions and corporate events, providing them with an opportunity to market and sell their work.

The SAPS / Tracker Bursary Scheme

We have partnered with the SAPS in the fight against crime (click here to read more about our partnership with the SAPS), but our partnership extends beyond the professional sphere. In 2004 we initiated our SAPS/Tracker Bursary Scheme, which provides tertiary merit bursaries to the children of police officers who have passed away in the line of duty.

Already 30 students have been enrolled in this bursary programme and are studying towards degrees such as medicine, engineering, marketing, law, finance, tourism, etc. To date, these students have excelled - they are in the process of creating a bright future for themselves.

Anyone interested in applying for a Tracker bursary can download and fill in the application form below and return it to us as soon as possible - preceding the year of study. Please read the attached policy document first to see if you meet the qualifying criteria for the bursary.
