Corporate Social Investment – Investing in our future

As Tracker has grown, so has its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) department. After starting off as an unstructured entity with the best intentions, it has now developed into a fully fledged CSI department, with clear goals and objectives with credible and sustainable projects under its direction.
“Taking back tomorrow” is more than a slogan for Tracker, it is an ethos which lives deep within the culture of the company, and it goes further than addressing the crime statistics in our country. Our CSI initiatives are “taking back tomorrow” for our youth. We are investing substantially in projects that offer sustainable development for our communities, and our strategy focuses on three main areas that are of critical importance to our country: Education, Community Safety and Health and Welfare.

In addition to the identified initiatives we support, we encourage our staff to identify ad-hoc projects, charities and initiatives they think we could help. Our employees themselves regularly get involved in the identified projects, donating their time for activities such as painting, refurbishing houses, feeding the poor and participating in community development activities. The assistance is motivated by our CSI motto “If not us then who, if not now then when?”
